Strengths: Price & Scanning

Weaknesses:memory card slot, cable, Fax & ink cost.

Overall Evaluation: Scanner and copy quality & function is great. PictBridge printing is not good. In photo quality, Epson & HP is better then canon. Easy in use & instalation. Use canon photo paper for better performation.

Duration of ownership: 3 Months

Strengths: The scanner and copy functions work flawlessly. The printer does a good job but I prefer the ip 4000 for printing color photo's.

Weaknesses:Ink usage

Overall Evaluation: Purchase of this printer is a "no-brainer" for first time users and anyone with a restricted budget. The cost of the replacement cartridges will exceed the cost of the printer after just 2 instances of cartridge replacements.Otherwise a great printer for the price

Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Great photo printing, PictBridge for quick printing, excellent scanning.

Weaknesses:Scanner design.

Overall Evaluation: This is a wonderful, quality printer. It produces exquisite photos and scans. The only problem I have with it is that it is slightly slanted so when you are trying to scan, the pictures slide around. You can always fix this by putting something under the front. Maybe I am missing something though... Overall it's a good printer for the price, especially after rebates.

Strengths: good build quality and finish, convenient pictbridge for photo printing, fast printing speed

Weaknesses:lack of memory slot

Overall Evaluation: I got this printer with a Canon camera, therefor after the bundle rebate the printer will be free. However, the quality of the printer is far better than those free after rebate item if you ask me. So far I basicly use it for photo printing, and it gives me excellent photos. Considering it can also be used for scanning and copying, it's definitely a great purchase.

Strengths: Sleek look, nice upgrade for your printing needs, great price, fast printing.

Weaknesses:I wish it had a fax. White?

Overall Evaluation: I am using this printer as a replacement for my old HP Officejet 4110 that had recently begun printing blurry letters so that you could barely read it. This printer prints much better, and although it came free with my PC, I would still recommend it for anyone who is shopping around for a new printer. It has great printing/scanning software, and the printing speed is fantastic! 22 pages per minute (that's 10 whole pages faster than my old one!) I believe that if you need a good printer for the price that can do many things, you should buy this printer from a trusted imaging company, Canon.

Jump at this MFP's low price only if you can tolerate a confusing control panel and sparse copy capabilities.

Canon's Pixma MP210 multifunction printer costs $80 (as of 9/12/07), as little as an entry-level, single-function printer. Because its copy functions are so limited, however, serious multitaskers should look elsewhere; and novice users may pause at its inscrutable control panel.
