  Duration of ownership: 1 Weeks

  Strengths: OLED menu is bright and easy to read, navigation is intuitive, FM radio and voice recording features, retractable usb.

  Weaknesses:Ear buds are uncomfortable for extended use.

  Overall Evaluation: If you have a small collection of MP3's and just want a simple to use MP3 player this would be a good choice. Like with most MP3 players you won't appreciate how good the sound is until you get a decent pair of headphones. Using Windows Media Player to sync my music with the player was fast and easy to do.

  Duration of ownership: 5 Weeks

  Strengths: Excellant display and controls. USB charging is convenient. FM radio and voice recording a plus.

  Weaknesses:No FM recording. Headphones could be better.

  Overall Evaluation: The Samsung YP-U3 is an excellant choice in it's price range. I improved the sound quality by using Sony MDR-E828LP headphones. My Samsung seems to constantly be running out of battery. After fully charging, if it sits around for a week, it's dead. Tip...you CAN go back to the main menu without the "5 steps move", if you press and hold the back button for a couple of seconds. Overall excellant value.

  Duration of ownership:

  Strengths: Bright, easy-to-read display and many customizeable options in menu tree

  Weaknesses:has a non-removeable rechargeable battery (preferred one with a rechargeable AAA battery)

  Overall Evaluation: It's a clean-looking player that has a touch-sensitive button panel; Sensitivity can be adjusted. I like it because that's less buttons to break although the power switch is a button that I'm worried that will wear-out/break eventually like my Iriver ifp-799 which I loved. I recommend this player to all.
