    Duration of ownership: 5 Months

Strengths: Good songs, multiplayer, wireless guitar, stickers, and online game play,

Weaknesses:Kinda gets boring after a month or two and characters are a little strange.

Overall Evaluation: Guitar Hero 3 is an interesting genre of game. It's difference from other games makes it unique. It's one of my favorite games, but it gets boring after about a couple weeks. Someone who would like this game would be someone who likes music, especially rock. I would rate this game 75% approval out of 100%. I hope my review was helpful.

Strengths: Good song selection and fun to play.

Weaknesses:Guitars not as good as RB.

Overall Evaluation: GH3 is a fun game with a good variety of song selections for anyone. The song selection is a plus vs RB rock only songs. I had to buy two games for two player action. I know that will change over time but I have paid more $$$ and have a extra game as a coaster. GH3 is harder on easy then RB. Having to beat bosses and songs on harder settings makes me want to put the game down after no progress for hours. With RB I can still gain a little cash for beating out the same songs and even select the songs I will play for a gig. Some time the gig is random 2 or 3 songs but you can keep trying to get three songs you can handle on a specific hardness. The feeble half fret buttons irk me. My huge Lurch type hands have problems with the buttons unlike RB full fret size buttions. I am sure more guitars will be out in the future but you are stuck with the factory one for the time being.

Strengths: This game has great graphics, diverse song selections, and bonus guitar git bag and key chain with this bundle pack.

    Weaknesses:Guitar was too small.

Overall Evaluation: Overall Guitar Hero III is an awesome all around fun game for one or multiple players. Even just watching someone else play will entertain for hours. Song selection was fantastic. The music ranged from Punk to power pop and rock to metal. While I myself feel the guitar controller is too small and would prefer a choice of a larger more realistic sized guitar, I understand the small size for those younger players as well as cost and logistics.

Strengths: FUN, FUN, FUN for all you air guitar people and older gamers who grew up with all these songs.

Weaknesses:None. Cheaper would always be better. More songs would be nice; guess that will be for Guitar Hero 4.

Overall Evaluation: For those of us who are air guitar fans or guitar playing impaired, our toy has arrived. This game is a lot of fun for ALL ages! The young kids who didn't grow up with these classics now know and like these songs too. For the older kids at heart who grew up with these songs, we can take a walk down memory lane, striving for 100% accuracy.Awesome game and its popularity will be self evident if you just play it once at the stores or a friends house.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: lots of songs by the original artist, classic GH gameplay, wireless controller, online vs and co-op

Weaknesses:can be insanely difficult, new boss battles are kinda lame

Overall Evaluation: another year, another plastic guitar to add to my collection. I'm going to cut to the chase here...if you've played any other guitar hero game then you've played this one too. Not that it's a bad thing. In terms of gameplay not much has changed. There's a new battle mode where players can use powerups to screw with their opponent, but in my opinion standard head-to-head and coop are still the way to go with multiplayer. The song selection is tight and takes you up through the ranks pretty well. That is until you get to the last set where the difficulty ramps up awfully high. I've beaten the other GH games on expert and this one presents similar challenges on Hard at times **slayer** cough, cough.Long story short: GH fans won't be disappointed, and newbies will still have fun (on easy/medium anyway). Online mode is also fun for those without 2 guitars, oh and by the way - the rock band guitar doesn't work with GH III, so you will need to buy a second guitar for local multiplayer.
