    Duration of ownership: 3 Days

    Strengths: Small and compact. 30 fps video (Good Quality and Resolution). So easy to use that a child can operate it. USB connectivity. Affordable alternative to a full size camcorder.

    Weaknesses:Occasional distortion/crackeling from the sound that is recorded. No card slot to expand its memory.

    Overall Evaluation: My family and my children had moved away from the town we had lived in for many years. We were looking for something simple to keep in touch with family and this has done the trick. While it doesn't have the best feature set it does what we would like it to do. It only has 30 minutes of memory, but that is all we need. Would have liked an expansion slot, but it's not a big deal. With the program that comes with the camera it is easy to record videos to e-mail or put on the web. Good value.
