    Duration of ownership: 2 Months

    Strengths: Can't find any.

Weaknesses:The install is ridiculous. Unless you have a tape deck, you end up with wires running across the interior and exterior of your car. Are you kidding

Overall Evaluation: Had I known my only option was going to be to have exposed wiring running over the back exterior of my car, into the cabin of the car, then across the ceiling of my car and finally onto the dash of my car, I never would have purchased this. I'd return it in a heartbeat if I could

Strengths: Nice concept. It is easy to use.

Weaknesses:My remote has failed. So, some of the accessories are not well made. When you broadcast to a FM radio there is always a hiss.

Overall Evaluation: XM Satellite Radio is very nice with a lot of good stations to listen to. You can take this radio anywhere: you can listen to the radio in the house, outdoors or in the car. You can also save what is being played on the radio and listen to it at a later date. But, as mentioned above, some of the components are not well made.

Strengths: Super low price. Good reception with proper antenna. All-in-one kit.

Weaknesses:Terrible earphones come with it. A little bulky.

Overall Evaluation: Price is now a steal (sub $100 less $30 rebate on line. 5 hour recording. Buy the optional built-in antenna/headphones if you want good portable reception. The earbuds that come with it are poor. But at the price mentioned above, you can't beat it.

    Strengths: Works sometimes?

    Weaknesses:Hard to get a signal.

Overall Evaluation: I had a hard time deciding on which radio to purchase. I have to admit, the rebate helped me to decide. After several months I had actually forgot about the rebate. Then I receive an email stating that I was denied the rebate because I failed to provide the original USP symbol/proof of purchase tab. This was not true. First of all, I'm not an idiot, I know how to follow directions. Second, I remember how difficult is was on my fingers trying to cut the very hard plastic that incased the UPS symbol.I realized that this would be a very clever way for a company not to pay the rebates they promise. How would one prove they sent the originals? I did not have a problem with the rebate money. As I said, I had forgotten about the rebate. I was very upset with this company's business tactics. If they were underhanded with a rebate, what else would they do? Be very careful when dealing with this company.

Strengths: Low price specials for current XM customers

Weaknesses:Worst customer service I have ever experienced

Overall Evaluation: It may be somewhat unfair to rate this radio so low because of the poor service, but in my mind they go hand-in-hand.Shop.xmradio.com is the online store affiliated with www.xmradio.com. They frequently run specials, expecially with current XM customers, offering low prices on second XM subscriptions, etc.I can honestly say, that I have had the absolute worst customer service experience with this company. The Myfi device broke when attempting to connect the home docking station, so I called and was given a RA# to return the device. This was only given out to me after arguing with the operator that the problem was warranty related. It has now been over 2 months since I sent in the parts for exchange, and I have yet to get the replacements. Better yet, I call the customer service department and am told that the 'only way they can communicate with their warehouse is through email' and 'they are not responding'. What? I then request to just return the unit for a refund and am told that I cannot. Unbelievable. Worst yet is that I have paid for 2 months of additional XM service, and have yet to have the ability to use this radio. I only assume it's nice.
