Strengths: The concept is beautiful. The interface and the Paperport software work well.
Weaknesses:While lightweight, the unit feels cheaply made makeing the pricepoint seem high.
Overall Evaluation: When I first tried the unit, I thought it had been damaged in shipping. Then I thought it simply needed recharging. Then I discovered that I was pressing on the button on top too lightly. Once I discovered the "press-to-click" switch, the unit worked very well. It is a sensable switch design. With it the unit is not inadvertently turned on. All in all, with the data collection that I intend to do, the unit is a good choice.

Strengths: Very user friendly, portable and used for all types of documents (folded books and small papers)
Weaknesses:no color and speed of scan should be very accurate
Overall Evaluation: The scanner has helped me a lot in the gathering of offsite information. It is always handy for all kinds of operations. It is very user friendly and has a cost reduction feature for it helps changing into a paperless environment.
