Strengths: 22" widescreen, 3000:1 contrast, 2ms, both DVI and VGA inputs, glossy finish, vivid colors, nice options to play around with (both on monitor and software)
Weaknesses:Price was a little high, but It is worth it
Overall Evaluation: I was debating between the 226bw and the 2232gw when i saw them both in a local retail store, but the quality of the picture on the 2232gw was the obvious choice for me. The 226bw is sharper and grainy like most lcd monitors, yet the 2232gw has a glossy blur (just enough to look nice) which makes the colors much more vibrant. In my opinion anyone looking for an everyday computer use, go with the 226bw, but if you watch as many movies/shows on your PC as me, 2232gw is the obvious choice. (technically speaking the 2232gw is a 226bw panel with a different filter in front)

A superb monitor, the SyncMaster 2232GW delivers an excellent picture for many graphics tasks, justifying its slightly higher-than-average price.
Samsung's SyncMaster 2232GW is a winner. The monitor's round-bottomed base may not appeal to everyone, but few will quibble with its graphics quality: The SyncMaster's scores on this measure were among the highest we've seen in recent memory. Across the board, the PC World jury gave it high marks for performance, resulting in a collective score of Very Good.
