  Overall Evaluation: I was searching for a high quality surround sound speaker system to replace my mixed set of speakers along with a good subwoofer. I was considering Bose, Polk, and the Mirage. Discussing the various options and reviewing speakers sizes, I settled on the Mirage. I am not disappointed. The subwoofer base port literally "blew me" away while watching Cars. Easy mounting with the attached mounts. I'm only disappointed that the auto power mode on the subwoofer doesn't always shut off the speaker.

  Duration of ownership: 6 Months

  Strengths: Very small speakers deliver big punch. Crisp & clear sound. Black with silver trim that fits any home theater config.

  Weaknesses:None that I have found so far

  Overall Evaluation: I have a 10 x 14 room & these speakers fill the entire room with quality sound. The 5 satellites create space within the movie. You can hear the smallest details coming from each speaker. The small powered sub delivers a big punch. The speaker configuration is versatile as they come with mounting brackets. If above ear height then hang upside down as the speakers are on top of the enclosures. If you want floor standing then you need the stands. Speakers are sold separately if you want 6.1 or 7.1 setup. Mirage also has bigger center channel that can be added to this config.

  Strengths: Very good sound.Very good separation giving an exapansive environment.Great bass from subwoofer... and (as expected) no ability to locate bass.

  Weaknesses:none.

  Overall Evaluation: These speakers present a great sound experience! The sound seems to come from behind the speakers... presenting a great sound stage! The bass is punchy. These speakers pull you into the movie... making the actual TV seem bigger than it is (I've got an ancient 20" tube TV).
