  Strengths: cheap DL disks

  Weaknesses:recording quality

  Overall Evaluation: Used these disks in LG & BenQ recorders - the recording quality is not the best, especially around the layer change (using Nero tools).Recorded disks are still playable in standalone DVD player, but some times move freezes for a few seconds. The disks are playable with no problems in PC dvd reader.I guess you get what you paid for:)

  Overall Evaluation: I've been burning at 8x using my Acer laptop burner and have gotten 3 coasters out of 12 so far. Reading the posts here, I'll try reducing my speed and seeing if things improve.

  Weaknesses:Could not read back whatever it wrote

  Overall Evaluation: I'm using an NEC-3500AG drive. It writes 2.4x-4x. The disks seemed to write the files OK -- at about 2.4x speed. But, none of it could be read back. I tried 3 disks -- all coasters. I'll try to return these.

  Duration of ownership:

  Strengths: Relatively cheap compared to other brands

  Weaknesses:you got to have a good burner to use it

  Overall Evaluation: I tried two burners, the first burner came with the dell desktop and simply wasted two discs (both failed at 83% when burning an ISO). The second one was Samsung and it has successfully burned a couple of discs.

  Strengths: Cheapest on the market right now

  Weaknesses:High failure rate for some burners

  Overall Evaluation: I have burned these DVD's using the double layer feature on an iMac Aluminum 20" and they work fine most of the time. I think Ive had a single failure out of 10 and that may have been due to a corrupt file. Overall the product works well for me but may not depending on your burner.
