Acer P221W
This wide-screen LCD is too expensive for a no-frills model with no frills with undistinguished performance.
The Acer P221W handled common text and graphics tasks reasonably well, finishing fifth out of seven monitors in its test group. But its price ($500 as of 10/9/2007) is almost twice as high as that of some competing monitors that perform just as well and offer extras to boot.
