Strengths: Mechanical fit OK
Weaknesses:Transmitter
Overall Evaluation: The purpose of this unit is to transmit the music from your media to to your radio. The transmitter is so weak it cant do it! So, why bother!!!! There has got to be something out there that will. So dont send your money on this product.

Duration of ownership: 3 Months
Strengths: It looks impressive with an iPod perched on it. It works OK plugged straight into a receiver.
Weaknesses:Even in a rural area, the transmission is too weak to use. I have tried it on several different receivers in cars, outdoors and indoors.
Overall Evaluation: Mine may be defective, but Belkin wouldn't respond to my request for a return. I was sucked in by the impressive appearance, but in my case it is worthless as a wireless transmitter every way I've tried it. Buyer beware!

Duration of ownership: 3 Days
Strengths: 1. It comes with different holders for every ipod 2. holders hold the ipod tight enough 3. Sound quality is acceptable
Weaknesses:ClearScan is useless
Overall Evaluation: This device is compact and beautifully built. The holders it comes with can hold my ipod rigidly during the ride. The locations of the buttons are convenient. However, the main selling point of this FM transmitter, ClearScan, is useless at all. The scan results are not the best channel. I always have to change it manually.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: The idea of clearscan is good, the ability to manually find a station helps in congested areas, the memory buttons are a conveinence
Weaknesses:Transmitter is too weak
Overall Evaluation: My car has no input for an external device so I thought this would be perfect; I end up having to use a cassette because the Washington DC metro area is just too congested and the signal from the Tunebase is too weak for most any of the stations. As my wife said; if its fuzzy I won't listen.

Duration of ownership: 7 Days
Strengths: Easy to use, nice dockable connector
Weaknesses:transmitter not powerful enough
Overall Evaluation: I used this transmitter for a week as a possible replace for my iCar Play. I liked the dockable connector. However, I commute in congested traffic and found that this transmitter was often over powered by others on the same or nearby frequencies. I never had that problem with my old transmitter and the clear scan feature was worthless in trying to find another station. I ended up returned the unit after trying for a week.
