  Strengths: only use virus scan and have never had a days trouble

  Weaknesses:slows machine a little if you need to scan files as used, I turn this of while i dont insert disks etc after full scan.

  Overall Evaluation: money is scarce, this is worthwile even if free programs are available

  Overall Evaluation: I have been using mcafee viruscan for many years now and realy like the product. It is easy to install and updates automaticly. It does a good job of blocking spyware and viruses.

  Weaknesses:Takes memory and slows down my laptop a bit.

  Overall Evaluation: I got this from Amazon.com for my Sony VAIO VGN-NR310E/S. The laptop came with a 30 day trial offer from Norton but I decided to buy McAfee. It has been OK so far but it puts a little load on the system resources but I don't seem to notice it that much unless I am looking at the Task Manager.
