Strengths: This monitor has excellent color accuracy, a ton of inputs and fantastic drivers(see below). The touch sensitive buttons and menus are very well designed and very easy to work with.
Weaknesses:The stands inability to tilt downwards and the panels limited viewing angles can be a major negative though this is easily solved with a third party stand, or in my case a small board.
Overall Evaluation: This monitor is one of the best values around, it has more features than most monitors that cost hundreds of dollars more and the drivers to make them all easy to use. Every setting on the monitor is adjustable through EzTune from simple brightness and contrast to color calibration, the driver support for the picture in picture settings I found especially impressive. You can toggle pip on or off with a keystroke, set it to fade away when your mouse is underneath it, and even change it's position by dragging it around with your mouse. All in all the features of this monitor greatly outweigh the negatives and I highly recommend it.

Strengths: Very nice picture quality, rotating display, solidly built, industry standard mounting options, TONS of input options.
Weaknesses:Controls and stand are a bit different (see summary).
Overall Evaluation: The controls are touch sensitive spots on the bezel which is a really great aesthetic addition. However I hit them on accident a lot. I also sometimes need to adjust the tilt down due to my sitting position, but the stand does not bend that direction. Also, the looped part of the stand (see picture) turns on a hidden pivot point along with the top of the monitor. Unlike most monitors nothing stays still while the monitor turns. So if you keep things on the desk below the monitor you might not like that. But it still feels very stable while it turns. On the plus side, this thing is built like a tank. I had a car wreck one week after i bought it (the monitor was in the trunk) and I never noticed any problems. It just kept working flawlessly. Tons of inputs including HDMI and it really is pretty to look at. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase (I've got two of them, purchased about 3 weeks apart).

Strengths: Phenominal color and depth, lots of inputs, sturdy stand
Weaknesses:The one fatal flaw: could never adjust the picture for watching TV shows recorded with Windows Media Center (although the crappy tuner card that came with the computer could be a contributing factor)
Overall Evaluation: Loved this monitor. The EZ-Tune software made it EZ (sorry) to make the appropriate adjustments for a truly beautiful picture which made photo editing a dream. It was also very good for video editing. In addition to DVI it also had an HDMI input which I was looking forward to using with a future laptop purchase. While this was a great monitor for all the reasons mentioned above, ultimately I ended up taking it back. I also record a lot of programs using Vista's Media Center and when I leaned back in my chair it was just enough of an angle that the picture became way too dark. I setup one of the display modes specifically for watching TV but no matter how many time's I adjusted the picture I just couldn't get it right. So then I tried tilting the monitor down every time I watched TV but was afraid that eventually this would degrade the sturdiness of the stand. These monitors are known for not having a high-tolerance for off-center viewing and most of the time this was never a problem. But at the end of the day when I kicked back to watch TV not appropriate for younger family members, I'd get frustrated trying to adjust the picture. In all honestly this also could have been a function of the cheap TV tuner card that came with my new computer. HP just released an update of the w2408 (the 2408h) which I just picked up and will give it a try. I'll let you know in a few weeks what I think of it. And if the HP doesn't cut it I'll purchase another Gateway FHD 2400 and try upgrading the tuner card.
