Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Double Lifetime Warranty, Quiet, Only Takes Up One Slot, Only Needs One Power Connector, Free Games
Weaknesses:No Support for HDMI Audio, Only Takes Up One Slot
Overall Evaluation: When I first bought this card it was incredibly loud, after talking to technical support it was diagnosed as having the wrong fan, one that cannot change speed. XFX sent me a new heatsink/fan which was very easy to install to replace the old one. The difference was remarkable, it went from sounding like a hairdryer to being quieter than my case fans. Anyone with fan noise should contact XFX as it seems many received the wrong fan. The single slot design makes it take up less space inside your computer and not block any adjacent expansion slots but it does cause some cooling problems. Instead of blowing the hot air out of the case it blows it into the case so make sure you have adequate case cooling. I like the fact that this card only requires one PCIE power connector unlike the new 9xxx series which mostly require 2 (or more). The lifetime warranty is very good too as it covers you even if you damage your card overclocking it which may be very useful to some. One thing I don't like about this card as unlike the ATI 3xxx card I used to own, this does not come with a HDMI, a HDMI-DVI cable can be used but it will not support HDMI 5.1 audio like the ATI does. Overall I am very happy with the power this card has and it does take up less space than my previous card. Great value for money.

Duration of ownership: 1 Months
Strengths: powerful, fast, factory overclocked, double lifetime warranty
Weaknesses:none
Overall Evaluation: this card is XFX's 8800GT extreme edition line. It comes with 640MHz core (compared to 600MHz standard), 1900MHz memory (compared to 1800MHz standard) speed. Everything maxed out in games that i play, including COD4, PES 2008 and etc. Crysis could almost get maxed out with 25-30fps. It also comes with double lifetime warranty, which is no doubt the best warranty on the market.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Fast speed, One slot version, sufficient cooling, double warranty
Weaknesses:Fan noise
Overall Evaluation: This is a great video card that does not cost your arms and legs. This card can play most of current high-video-demanding PC games at high settings. This applies to the high FPS games as well. Also this card only takes one slot whereas some 8800GT cards take up two slots. A sufficient empty space inside of computer is needed for a proper air flow (cooling), and a single slot version is better in that way. Its fan is very loud. You will definitely notice the fan when you first run it. If you are building HTPC, this is NOT the one you want. For last, the XFX's infamous double warranty applies to this model as well. Great buy!

Strengths: XFX's Legendary Build Quality, XFX's Double Lifetime Warranty, XFX's Excellent Tech Support, Company of Heroes Game Included, G92 Advantages (65nm, Improved PureVideo)
Weaknesses:Really long card (had to move around some cables for it to fit in the case)
Overall Evaluation: This particular 8800GT XFX card runs at a 640mhz core and of course has the G92-core. I was a bit stumped on why Nvidia didn't altogether name the 8800GT cards as 9xxx-series as all the current and upcoming 9xxx cards will utilize almost the exact same architecture. In fact, the reason I didn't pick the 9600GT over this is because the 9600GT core (G94) is actually a stripped-down version of the 8800GT core (G92). Even after ATI introduced the Radeon 3800-series to combat the 8800GT - this card is still king of graphics performance (DX9 or DX10) in terms of bang-for-the-buck. In build quality, this card has a rock solid build. XFX decided to base its design off of Nvidia's reference design on the board and I actually quite like its sturdy design (single-slot is definitely a plus in a cramped case.) Not only that, but XFX has some of the best warranty and tech support out there. Their double lifetime warranty means it will honor the card warranty even if you give it to somebody else. I am very pleased in terms of overall performance improvements from my 7950GT - as this was able to make anything I throw at it run seamlessly at a 1680x1050 resolution. I haven't tried anything higher though because I don't have a monitor that does it any higher...
