    Duration of ownership: 1

Strengths: Capacity is great and easy to use

Weaknesses:I am on my third unit in one week, still trying to get one that works correctly and will play my CDs

Overall Evaluation: First unit had CD alignment errors, Second one wouldn't play lots of my CDs and would get lost in shuttle mode. Third unit has more issues playing same CDs that second unit errored on. even though CDs are in great condition.

Strengths: Easy to set up. Directions Clear. Readily available Interfaced with Pioneer amplifier easily

Weaknesses:Yes it is large and the slots for the discs are very close but it is not heavy and easily managed. Measure your cabinet space before you buy.

Overall Evaluation: We have a bunch of discs and this device makes it easy to play any one we like with minimal hassle. The interface for 13 characters of input using a normal computer keyboard is quick and adequate.

Strengths: It holds 300 CD's, you can use your computer keyboard to input info (artist, songs, etc.), looks great, sounds phenomenal.

Weaknesses:Extremely, extremely large piece of equipment.

Overall Evaluation: First thing you will notice about this CD changer is how very large it is; it has to be large to hold 300 CD's. The actual dimensions are: 7 5/8"H x 17"W x 19 1/8"D (depth is from big knob on from to box-like extrusion on back). After you get past its size, you will notice its fine qualities. This piece of audio equipment holds 300 CD's, it sounds extremely good, it looks very good. I like the feature on the front where I can plug in a standard computer keyboard (does not need any software or operating system). I am going to build a new stereo system around this Sony changer, all Sony components. You will like the way the front door opens and closes to add and remove disks (discs). It is so easy to hook up, unbelievably easy. I will have to read the manual to see what this thing can really do. I recommend it. Hey! Buy this Sony.

Strengths: Easy to set up. Quiet when changing discs unlike my old 5 disc changer which made clunkey sounds.

Weaknesses:Directions for using a keyboard to input disc information a little hard to understand.

Overall Evaluation: On top of having immediate access to 300 discs it is a real space saver. Once you load your discs into the changer you can store all the jewel cases in your attic or basement freeing up all that space in your stereo cabinet. I compiled a list of my discs with corresponding number in the changer and I always know where everything is. It is very easy to use either by the remote or the unit itself and sounds great.

Strengths: Easy to use, easy to set up and follow instructions.

    Weaknesses:A little large.

Overall Evaluation: Great way to listen to music, we set it up with 6 driffrent groups of music, and can listen to 1 cd, or 1 group or all the cd's in order or shuffle mode, lableling the CD's was very easy as well as labeling the Groups. And the Sound is great.
