Strengths: many stenghths. this game features some of the best civilization building gameplay ever.
Weaknesses:None. I felt this game is one of those truely perfect games.
Overall Evaluation: This game is a very, very good game. In it you build your own civilization and attack other peoples civilizations. This game is propably the 2nd best civilization building games. The best civilization building game would have to definetly be Age of Mythology. You can read my review of Age of mythology on some different web sites web sites.

Strengths: New civs. New city improvements.
Weaknesses:Buggy software. Turn-based games aren't really "fun" to play in multiplayer. The pseudo-RTS "turnless" mode is a cheap patch to the Civ gameplay.
Overall Evaluation: If you can even get this software to work (online stability is really uneven and SLOW), it's still not fun to play. I was truly, honestly excited about PTW's concept -- get to play Civ III and play your friends! I tried this over and over again with my brothers... best-case scenario, get a tight game with four players who make quick moves, play simultaneous turns, and HOPE the game doesn't crash midway through. I can't believe this expansion pack made it to market. Nothing works here -- technically, it's bad, and conceptually, it's bad. Would have been forgiveable had it been included in the base Civ III game. But to charge an additional $30 for this? It's just sad.
