IBM xSeries 235 Tower Server

The IBM eServer xSeries 235 is a 2-way server using Intel's Xeon processors to provide you with power and performance at an affordable price. Offering a pathway for future growth, the x235 provides large expandability with up to 6GB of DDR memory, internal storage capability up to 660GB and six available PCI slots. Integrated Gigabit Ethernet gives you extensive networking bandwidth while keeping all slots free for other adapters. For flexibility to meet your custom space needs, the x235 comes in both tower models and models that convert to fit neatly into a standard rack, freeing up precious floor space. X-Architecture features like Chipkill memory, Active PCI-X technology and hot-swap cooling and power keep your server available when you need it. And the x235 is the first xSeries server to deliver integrated RAID-1 functionality, which gives you the ability to mirror hard disk drives for data protection for even higher server availability. The Dual Ultra320 SCSI channel that provides this capability is built into the motherboard, so you get the benefits of disk mirroring without using up a PCI slot. Reliability without sacrificing expandability. To implement higher levels of RAID protection, you can purchase the low cost, optional ServeRAID 5i Controller.
