  Duration of ownership:

  Strengths: deep, rich tones, adequate midrange and highs

  Weaknesses:high frequency not these speakers' strong point.

  Overall Evaluation: i am a reggae music enthusiast and these speakers deliver the bass in spades. much better than much more expensive ones i have tested. i played the movie "hero" through these speakers for my college-age son. The sound of the hooves pounding made him wince; he actually asked me to turn down the volume.you must hear bob marley's "legend" through these. you can't get a better bang for the buck. anywhere.

  Strengths: great sound very affordable if looking to spend less than 500 bucks slick design tall and slimmer than some

  Weaknesses:very bulky and a bit heavy but not really worried about it

  Overall Evaluation: after buying the bic america dv-84 tower speakers i hoooked them up to my yamaha 5.1 channell reciever and i am currently using them as my main front speakers the ones that came with the system sounded good but did not put out the amount of bass i had expected. THESE SPEAKERS ARE SICK THEY PROVIDE ME WITH GREAT MIDS GOOD HIGHS AND DEEP POWERFUL BASS. Buy these and you will not be disapointed
