  Duration of ownership: 6 Months

  Strengths: Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Pro offers the best in Document imaging and template building.

  Weaknesses:There is so much to offer I have not had the opprtunity to explore all its capabilities. Some imaging is offset from actual when scanning and then printing to fillable document.

  Overall Evaluation: We use this product everyday in a corporate environment. We work with a number of field locations - most of which use e-mail to correspond with others. Our use of faxed documents has gone down by 70 - 90 percent as a result of our ability to image and store with Adobe 7.0 Pro. Our work can be paper intensive at times and the use of this program has allowed us to cut the normal paper pushing by as much as 50 percent.

  Strengths: Additional 7.0 features are a plus if you plan to use the review and comment features with others. Acrobat help answer most common questions.

  Weaknesses:

  Overall Evaluation: If you need to create PDF files for sharing documents, Acrobat 7.0 is for you. No install problems. Help feature addresses most questions that you would have. The review and comment feature is really helpful if you need others to provide feedback on documents.

  Strengths: Theoretically, a good software

  Weaknesses:Practically, useless for many computer configurations

  Overall Evaluation: The new security feature doesn't work with raid drives, several anti-spyware software, several antivirus software, and with partition magic. Adobe has no solution for this bug. They simply tried too hard to protect the software. The outcome is a great software that doesn't work on many computer configurations.

  Strengths: Very good for commenting tools. Really helps in sharing documents.

  Weaknesses:It has the feature of creating interactive fields for forms (fields that you can fill in information), but this can not be used by your customers or peers, unless they download the latest Acrobat Reader 7.0. And since many people do not want to download a

  Overall Evaluation: I am very disappointed in the way Acrobat handles the forms, specifically the interactive fields - fill in fields. In order to make this feature work for your clients, you are supposed to buy a $50,000 program from Adobe to enable and extend this feature to your clients.
