Months
Strengths: Light weight. Lots os USB ports. High memory. Mine does have a webcam.
Weaknesses:Battery last for about an hour when off the charger. Nice Keyboard.
Overall Evaluation: I would have rater had a Sony ar the Dell Vosotro that has a number keypad.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Small, Light, Good Battery. Clear Screen
Weaknesses:No Web Cam.. and touch pad is a little tricky to get used too other then that the price is great for what all you get.
Overall Evaluation: Would buy again.. Wait till your local store has them on sale, for you can get a great price as I did.. If you install a bluetooth chip and get a Mogo Mouse it makes it even more amazing

Strengths: Value for the price, clear screen, 2GB, dual core
Weaknesses:Vista, a little too much garbage-ware
Overall Evaluation: Hey for $499, this is a real deal. Good memory (2GB), clear screen (15.4 inches), dual core. Vista (ick) is my only complaint. Speed is good, boots quickly. Had to remove a lot of useless software like AV and other agents that Dell no doubt sucks some commission out of.

Strengths: great feel, solid, nice looking, dependable
Weaknesses:filled with junk when you get like all other computers, heavy
Overall Evaluation: I have used this machine for two years now and I love it. The keyboard on a Dell has a great touch and feel. I have 2gigs of mem and a 160gig hard drive. I would buy another without question. I own 3 Dells including desktop.

Strengths: 3GB hard drive. Best bang for the buck
Weaknesses:Customer service representatives. Sometimes communication is difficult.
Overall Evaluation: This is my third Inspiron. Ordered exactly what I wanted and the price was sure right. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged but Dell made good and sent out a new system to replace the damaged one. I received my new computer and it works just wonderful. It's fast and with that 3GB it's a screemer.
