    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: 8GB, price

    Weaknesses:Not so fast transfer

    Overall Evaluation: 8GB storage definitely fulfills most of my needs. The price is just right for my budget. The only thing I am not so happy with it is its relatively slow file transfer speed. But I can live with it since even a regular DVD can't hold as much.

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: This one is cheap and the storage is big. The upload and download speed is good.

    Weaknesses:The design is bad. The color is boring.

    Overall Evaluation: I got this form staples for 20 bucks. It is a really nice deal for a big storage flash drive. But is is so ugly. I do not like the black color. It makes it looks really bad. What's more, the cap is easy to slip off. The property of this flash drive is very good. It takes around 2 and half minutes to transfer 1.2gb from laptop to flashdrive .It takes 1 minute and 45 second to transfer 1.2gb from flashdrive to laptop. I test it by XP on Compaq. It is really a good, large storage flash drive. It is a nice one at a cheap price. I hope they can improve the design for their product.

    Strengths: It responds fast, the upload speed is around 11.7mb/s and download speed is around 8.2mb/s. There is a black jacket outside of the transparent shell to make it looks better.

    Weaknesses:The color is a little boring. The cap is easy to slip off

    Overall Evaluation: There is a deal in staples. I just got it for 20. This is a good price for 8gb flash drive. There are still some cheaper ones. But they are all sold out very very quickly. Let me say something about this flashdrive. It responds fast when I plug it in the laptop. The upload speed is around 11.7mb/s and download speed is around 8.2mb/s. When I did the test, I also used laptop to do other stuffs. So the speed may not be the max value. But it is already good enough. BTW, my laptop is T43 and windows XP. The design of the flashdrive is ok. There is a black jacket outside the flashdrive. When take the jacket off, you can see what inside through the transparent blue shell. But I think the cap is not stable. It is easy to slip off. This flashdrive is not cool enough for the black color, but it can work well. That's enough. During 10 mins transferring, there is not obvious temperature change for this flashdrive. It is a good one.

    Weaknesses:slightly slow

    Overall Evaluation: Worth the speed / cost advantage for me, because I can drag all my stuff on here and not worry about picking and choosing what I need for the day.
