Strengths: Vizio products are very sharp in picture qualityLight weightHigh Quality for the cost

Weaknesses:37" is not as good a picture as the 42"Remote is opposite from typical remotes (volume on right/channel changer on the left).

Overall Evaluation: This is overall a great buy for the money. Vizio tends to be the most quality TV for the cheapest price that I have seen on the market. The 37" offers a great in between size for those who are used to both 42" and 32". Sound is excellent and the picture (though not as good as the 42" which you would expect) is very good.

Strengths: It was so easy to set up to the cable! I was able to do it with no service person's help! I recently connected my camera to it and it was so easy and the pics looked great!

Weaknesses:So far I have found none!

Overall Evaluation: If I was going to buy another HD tv for another room I would choose this model again! We just brought it home, hooked it up to our HD cable box and it has been nothing but pure pleasure since!!

    Duration of ownership: 5 Months

    Strengths: price, picture quality

    Weaknesses:audio, reliability

Overall Evaluation: had this tv for about 5 months now, and loved it until recently. It started losing the picture but keeping the audio. at first unplugging the HDMI cables from the back in then plugging them back in did the trick. not anymore. now i have a tv with a black screen and voices. vizio's tech support is a joke, seeing as how theyre not open on sundays, as well as circuit city's tech dept. bottom line, ive been told this is not just bad luck, apparantly this all the time with vizio's. spend a couple hundred extra and get a better brand.

Strengths: 1. Good price.2. Various connection interfaces available.3. Easy to use.4. Both digital/analog TV looks good.

Weaknesses:No major weakness so far, but a few places that it can improve(see comments below).

Overall Evaluation: I have had this set for about 2 months now, and i use it almost everyday. The set has a lot of connection options, I mainly use RF Cable, Composite, Components and VGA to hookup from various sources, and it works pretty good. The picture quality is good enough for me.I did encounter one freeze during the 2 month use when i was scanning through the channels, the tv just stuck there without responding to any buttons. A power off/on brought it back, i guess its main controller's program must have a glitch somehow. Still for the price, i think it's well worth it.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Good picture quality on HD channels, easy to figure out

Weaknesses:Grainy picture on non HD channels and some movies

Overall Evaluation: My first Vizio, and I'm pretty pleased. On non-HD channels the picture is really grainy, and its just a little grainy on movies. HD is great and the size is just right. I haven't had any real issues with it, and there are no confusing or difficult settings/set ups(which is great for the non tech savvy)
