    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Just fantastic and will get you back on track quickly should you miss a turn. No need to worry.

Weaknesses:Sorry Garmin , but you should have included a house charger and a better instruction manual. Very poor layout and does not explain how to add/ get new maps or adding voices etc.

Overall Evaluation: Most users will want to buy an extra mount for the other car or truck, the manual is no help at all. However the GPS is just fantastic. No one will ever be disappointed with this unit. Just set it up for the fastest route and away you go. We missed two turns due to noisy kids and very busy beach traffic. She had us back on track in seconds. This is an auto function and takes you right back on course. Easy to use and easy to set the volume to suit your ears. Touch the screen and the point you touched will enlarge to show more detail. ( putting you finger on a X-roads or lake etc This was worth every penny and more. My wife loved it so much it is now waiting for a new mount and it will be ready for her car. Buy with confidence.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Large text, clear voice, very accurate, east to use, holds signal indoors and outdoors.

Weaknesses:Initial lock into satellite hard in tree covered area, butGarmin said this upfront.

Overall Evaluation: Novice to GPS. Looking for something small to fit in shirt pocket, easy to use, read, hear, and a long battery life. This unit is perfect. Rarely look at screen since I rely on the spoken voice to direct me, and this works great. Could lock into the satellite while in my house, car, or garage until the trees in my neighborhood grew their leaves. Garmin's instructions pre-alerted about this condition so I don't hold that against the unit. Once the signal is captured, it never loses it even if you walk into a store, forest, under bridges, etc. I use it effectively while walking and biking as well. Lots of worthwile features in an easy to use menu.

Weaknesses:Does not list all businesses in POI

Overall Evaluation: This a middle of the line GPS system...nothing real fancy but great for my travel needs. This is my first GPS and I wouldn't leave on a trip without it now.
