    Duration of ownership: 1 Months

Strengths: Great sound quality for a mid-range speaker system, value for price, small space requirements

    Weaknesses:Pricey mounting brackets sold separately

Overall Evaluation: The Bose AM3 Series IV comes with 2 small cube speakers, the Bass Acoustimass module, which is about 1.5 ft tall, and 4 20-ft speaker wires. As such, it occupies very little space and could be positioned strategically in your lving room or bedroom. The sound quality is great for a midrange system. I paid around $150 plus tax, and it feels like good value for the price. I would have wanted the mounting brackets for the cube speakers but I think these are a bit pricey.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: very small size, great sound

Weaknesses:none i can think of having realistic expectations

Overall Evaluation: These are very good speakers for their size, recently had a baby and space is minimal so i decided to give these a try dont know how anyone could not like the sound of these gems having owned a $10,000 pair of speakers in the past i can honestly say that i dont miss them (well not very much anyways) the midrange clarity rivals anything i have heard in the past while the bass and treble are very good, tune the bass to your liking by moving the module around to different locations towards a wall for more bass away for less, have realistic expectations if buying these they dont have that big earthshattering bass that alot of people like but the bass is very acurate, make sure that you have good electronics to match the clear revealing sound of these speakers, the people that gave these a bad review probably had less that adequate electronics and the bad sound was probably coming from them, definately a best buy for the bedroom where i currently have them set up believe me mated with good electronics (such as adcom) they can rival a $10,000 pair of speakers in the midrange when most of the music is. To sum it up get these if you enjoy acurate music reproduction and dont need huge volume levels, perfect for smaller rooms.

    Duration of ownership: 4 Days

    Strengths: Strong, crisp high-end

Weaknesses:Lows are only sufficent if placed in room corner and some bass adjustment is applied via receiver

Overall Evaluation: Paid $198 for the set-up and the overall value is good as only a small cube like set-up will work in my family room. Value if paying more (i.e. $290) would otherwise be classified as poor...
