Strengths: This product has no strengths other than taking over your computer.
Weaknesses:I tried two tasks; backup some files and copy a mini DVD; both failed.
Overall Evaluation: I find this product useless and uninstalled it.

Strengths: Very strong function. thorough
Weaknesses:too big. use too much memory
Overall Evaluation: I bought this item back to last Nov. I like this software. It's a good update of Nero 7. But the problem is that this is too big a program. I have windows media as well as realplayer. I can use them. SO I don't need to use this nero 8 as a default player. Actually I only use nero to burn disks. So if you want only that function. YOu can use nero 7, or even nero 6. That's enough.

Strengths: THE SOFTWARE COVER A LOT OF STUFFS.
Weaknesses:WHEN I DID THE UPGARDE, THE WEBSITE NEED TO ERASE THE OLD VERSIONS. IT TOOK ME A LOT OF TIME.
Overall Evaluation: SINCE I USED THE SOFTWARE FROM NERO 6, I LOVE IT. IT IS VERY EASY TO USE IT. I LOVE THEY HAVE NERO DIGITAL. I CAN MAKE 2 MOIVES IN THE ONE REGULAR DVD. IT SAVE ME A LOT OF DISC. COPY DISC IS FAST AND EASY. I WILL KEEP PURCHASE THE SOFTWARE IN THE FUTURE. BUT I HOPE THEY CAN IMPROVE THE UPGARDE.

Strengths: An almost riduculous package in what it attempts to do.
Weaknesses:Poor documentation and software execution
Overall Evaluation: Hard to install properly. Very poor documentation. Does not work reliably at times. I was not impressed given the hype this product receives from reviews. There are better (and much easier to use) freeware products out there than this bloated mess.

Strengths: Faster encoding than RoxioVery useful utilities
Weaknesses:Confusing interfaceBackground processes taking ~170000K of Memory
Overall Evaluation: This software is rich in features but at the same time it can be considered as a resource hog. i'm running a 64-bit windows vista w/ 4GB RAM and even though i've stopped nero from running at startup (through msconfig), i can see "NMIndexingStoreSvr.exe" using ~11,000 of memory+ "NMIndexingService.exe" taking up 6,000K of memory. apart from that, this software if good and i will recommend it for everyone running atleast 2GB RAM.
