Duration of ownership: 7 Days
Strengths: Realistic feel, improved times, better control over rear wheel muscle cars, Feedback (while connected to power source) is excellent, more and more.
Weaknesses:minor: Pedals slide, needs better placement.
Overall Evaluation: This wheel is a blast, Setup was easy. The wheel paired up instantly and I started driving in Forza 2 immediately. With normal controller, I always detested driving the big American cars like the Camero or Corvette because they were so difficult to control - they would constantly slide out and wag back and forth because there was no feel. With this Wheel I nailed several races with both these cars because I was finally able to control the car through power slides and oversteers.

Strengths: Great force feedback, comfortable design, feels like you are driving a car.
Weaknesses:Takes time to get used to, accelerator and brake slide on floor, can't really play it on your lap and is best played clamped on a table.
Overall Evaluation: I have always been leery of getting a racing wheel since I have had bad experiences with others in the past. I must say that this one has changed my perception. Playing Forza 2 made me re-visit that game after I had all but given up on it. It definitely was frustrating at first, but once you get the hang of it, it really is a blast to play. The feedback on it makes fell like you are riding on rough road and you can really feel the turns. The problems I had with it is that you can't play with it on your lap because it just doesn't feel right. It has to be played clamped on a table which is a hassle because I always have to set up our pull out table every time I play. The other problem is the accelerator and brake likes to slide on the floor, so I had to put it on my wife's workout map to cut down on the sliding. I bought it because the price went down to $99, so I decided to get it and I am glad that I did. It is by far the best accessory for any game system.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: it works with the 360 and has actual force feedback
Weaknesses:no where close to the force feedback that the Logitech Driving Force Pro has (available only for PS2 - 3)
Overall Evaluation: I have to say the the xbox 360 steering wheel is nice to look at and works well with the driving games, but the Force feedback has a lot to be desired. After racing for many years I have developed a love for the sport and thought that if I had a wheel it would make it more realistic....with the PS2 I bought the Logitech Driving Force Pro and it was well worth the 150 I paid for it at the time.(2 years ago) The force feedback and 900 degree turning radius is the best and most realistic I have encountered to date. I recently switched over to the xbox 360, because sony has not proven to me to get their act together, and have a copy of forza 2. great game and the force feedback is there, but no where the quality or force of the Logitech...unfortunately Microsoft will not let other 3rd party developers make force feedback wheels, so your stuck buying their wheel to get the force feedback that you desire. The wheel is good but not great....no other choice, have to play with it and it is the only logical choice out there for now. Hope Microsoft reviews there competitors products in the future before putting out their own model....this wheel should have been, at least, on the same level as the driving force pro. have to say I am a little disappointed.

Strengths: Great with Forza 2, beautiful finish
Weaknesses:Power adapter recall, wiggle in the steering column
Overall Evaluation: The wheel looks beautiful with its white/black/chrome finish, and compliments my 360 Elite and Sony silver/black setup nicely. The wheel's rubber grip feels solid, but you can wiggle the wheel around its center column a little. This isn't noticed while driving though. The power adapter has been recalled since around August. At least Microsoft has done a voluntary recall to prevent future problems. They will send you a free replacement if you fill out a form to mail in or call their 800 number.In-game, the wheel is very challenging to use. I can definitely tell how much my tires are gripping the road and I only wish I could have that level of feedback in all my non-racing games.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Appearance matches the look of the console. Force feedback.
Weaknesses:Force feedback requires power from AC adapter.
Overall Evaluation: Overall, I really enjoy the Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel. The wheel matches the look of the console. It also has force feedback, which makes games like Forza Motorsports 2 more realistic. Ideally, the wheel works best when attached to a table, but it also works OK on your lap. Microsoft recently released an announcement that some wheels can begin to smoke, but I have not experienced that thus far.
