  Strengths: Stability, Intel website knowledge-base.

  Weaknesses:Telephone contact with support technicians requires a credit-card payment before connection, and you must convince the technician that the product is somehow defective or you will be charged.

  Overall Evaluation: I would generally concur with the previour reviewer. I have built several systems, including my own, with the Intel board. And I would hesitate to describe any of its design as a 'weakness'. Surely, some other boards, such as Asus, provide more input/output ports or connectors on the board and are more 'tweakable'. So this board might not be attractive to a hobbyist or someone who loves to experiment. But for stability and reliability, compatibility with additional components, I don't think it can be questioned. My only regret is the 'haughty' attitude that I encountered from some Intel tech support personnel, when I had an incompatibility problem, trying to satisfy a client's desire to use Win 98SE with this board and a P4 2.0GH processor; the Intel techs did not know that Microsoft had issued a caution that Win 98SE would not work well with Intel processors about 1.8GHz (if I recall correctly); I was informed by a very kind tech at Kingston Technologies (the supreme memory experts). But, of course, this is not a direct reflection on the board design, just on the general telephone tech culture at Intel. Overall, I have no reservation in recommending this board or other Intel products.

  Strengths: Supports Latest Hyperthreading Cpus, Great Graphics and Sound, USB 2.0 ports, AGP card slot

  Weaknesses:No overclocking abilities

  Overall Evaluation: This board has everything a budget conscious PC buyer could want, with great onboard sound (Soundmax Candazera) and Onboard Intel Extreme graphics. The GEBV2 Graphics are extremely good, as the onboard video memory has increased to 64mb, and the Graphics Bus Speed has also been increased. However the best thing about this board is that it supports Intel's Latest CPUs out of the box, including the 3.0Ghz Intel Pentium 4 with Hyperthreading. It also supports DDR 333 memory. Intel's support is second to none there website is packed with everything you need, being a first time PC builder I found there quick reference guides extremely helpful. Everything is well spaced out and clearly labeled. The only minor complaint I have with this is that one of the transistors/resistors is a little to close to one of the IDE connectors, however this is not a major problem so long as you are aware of it. In Summary: I highly recommend this board to anyone who wants a well-built powerful board with integrated graphics. I haven't had any problems with it, and for a first time system builder that cant be a bad thing
