Strengths: fast and easy to use UI, excellent Safari web browser, iPod included.
Weaknesses:not enough storage, lack of 3G, weak external speaker.
Overall Evaluation: With the beautiful and simple UI on the iPhone, Apple has revolutionized the way common people interact with their phone. The Safari web browser and email application provide a phenomenal Internet experience. The PDA tools, iPod, and phone are combined brilliantly in a way that makes sense even to non tech-savvy consumers. Compatibility with iTunes purchases, and the familiar customization settings makes this an easy upgrade for anyone with an iPod. Videos look amazing on the large high-quality screen, and the interface is very fast and responsive. The main weaknesses of the phone are the lack of 3G and storage options (16GB max). The external speaker is of poor quality, so if you're looking for a product that doesn't require headphones, you may want to pass on this model. Once these small issues are resolved (hopefully in the next revision), the iPhone will be close to perfect.
