    Duration of ownership: 10 Days

Strengths: Easy to use, great pairing with Blackberry

Weaknesses:Signal strength, connectivity with multiple devices

Overall Evaluation: Got this product for my wife (too many CDs in her car). The Parrot manual indicates that the best frequency is to be set the Parrot signal to 108.0 but we can't get there on the car. The FM range in her car'stereo starts at 88.1 and ends at 177.7 which are used by local stations. Same in my car. Because the FM signal from the parrot is too weak, there's a lot of static which is a problem... Otherwise, the BT pairing works well IF you have one device for both telephone and music. My wife has an Insigna MP3 player that has trouble connecting back when a call came through the phone, taking over Parrot. I tried it with my Blackberry 8830 which contains my music and it works flawlessly, alternating music and calls. Last, the cigarette lighter in the car (Mazda 6) is very close to the automatic shift which is a problem when you put the car in "park" as you end up hitting the Parrot... I guess this problem does not occur in other cars but that's what I have. Bottom line, my wife was happy but 3 days later wanted to return it because of the signal quality... the rest we can deal with I suppose. Make sure your car stereo has a higher FM range... if not, unless you live in the country side where 88.1 or 177.7 is not likely to be used, I wouldn't purchase this product.

    Duration of ownership: 1 Weeks

    Strengths: none

    Weaknesses:Too much static.

Overall Evaluation: DO NOT USE IN LOS ANGELES AREA CAN'T FIND A CLEAR SIGNAL. I was really hoping that this would work but in los angeles there is too much static on the radio to get a clear call. worked in front of my house with the car not moving but once i hit the road it was unbearable. now i'm waiting for a refund which was a pain (jumping through many hoops to get RMA #) we'll see how that goes...oh yeah and the seal was broken when i got the box. probably some other schmo who had returned it for the same reason.
