    Duration of ownership: 2 Weeks

Strengths: Range, reliability, doesn't seem to interfere with network and very nice looking set of handsets!

Weaknesses:Cannot name each handset, but other than that, none I've encountered so far.

Overall Evaluation: Been using this set of good looking handsets, campared to my 4 year old set of panasonic 5.8ghz set, for a couple of weeks now and been loving it! Very clear reception with very good range. This is my first DECT 6.0 and it certainly is a step up from my previous 5.8 model. Some cool feature I've been playing with is the call blocking and the night mode functions. Both come in very handy in a busy household. No more unwanted calls from people you don't want to hear from and no more being woken when you're trying to sleep in. How wonderful is that! This set of phones is highly recommended.

    Duration of ownership: 3 Months

Strengths: Talking caller-id, backlighting, speakerphone, regular AAA nimh batteries and block numbers

    Weaknesses:Base wall mounting bracket

Overall Evaluation: This is a great phone set. The white backlighting is great and it is easy to see. I also like the ability to block those pesky numbers with the 062 area codes. The talking caller-id is great because I don't have to look for the phone when it rings most of the time and just listen to the name. The speakerphone is also very clear and loud. The phones run at 1.9GHz and that means it doesn't affect my wifi connection and has a longer range. Lastly, it uses regular AAA nimh cells so unless these units break down, I will be using it for a long time. The only bad thing is the wall mounting bracket. The base is placed so high up that I can't see the controls. Perhaps this is not so bad if you are taller.

Strengths: - Sound clarity- Talking Caller-ID- Night Mode

Weaknesses:- Cheap-feeling plastic- No message number display

Overall Evaluation: First, despite the phone set is made of light-weight plastic, it actually looks pretty good. The phone passes the most important test- sound quality; it is very good. The phone uses standard AAA rechargable battery has only 5 hours talk time. It is a big plus to be able to change the battery when needed. The talking call-ID function may turn out to be a pretty useful function. For example, it can announce "Granny is calling". Other than that, the phone offers pretty standard multi-set phone functions. The function I wish it would have is a numeric display for the number phone message it has receivied.

    Weaknesses:none yet

Overall Evaluation: This is a great phone system that only requires one phone jack - great for VOIP or traditional phone service. Panasonic is a great brand and proves it here with talking caller id, talking alarm clock, talking battery alert, etc...Perhaps best of all is the use of AAA NiMH batteries so no more proprietary battery that costs a fortune to replace!

    Duration of ownership: 4 Days

Strengths: Brand (should be reliable); talking caller ID; good range; no interfernce with WLAN; cheap replacement batteries (AAA).

Weaknesses:Can not give a name to each handset (like office, living room, etc.), no color display

Overall Evaluation: I've been using it about a week - so far so good. The talking caller ID is a nice feature. There is no interference with other wireless equipment (I have a lot - two WLANs and TV sender in 2.4Ghz). DECT works in 1.9Ghz, which also gives better range in comparison with 5.4Ghz phone I used before. Each handset uses two standard AAA rechargeable batteries, replacement will be cheap. I gave the best rating because of brand reliability; I never had any problems with Panasonic equipment.
