Antec Mini P180 Black Mini Tower

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Looks great inside and out, good airflow and cable management.
Weaknesses:May be a bit big for a mATX case, does not fit full size ATX boards.
Overall Evaluation: After debating picking this case or the Antec P182 I chose this one for a number of reasons. I previously had an Antec Super Lanboy, which is about the same size as this case, and didn't really want a full size tower case. Being that the P180 Mini only supports mATX boards, you do lose some expansion slots (Not really a problem for me), and good mATX motherboards are few and far between (I use an ASUS P5E-VM HDMI, great board).

Strengths: Very quiet, great air-flow, easy-to-work-with interior
Weaknesses:I wish it had a 1394 port on the front.
Overall Evaluation: Antec cases have always been nice, but this is probably the best I've ever used from them. I love the 200mm fan in the top, which helps the system run very quiet. This isn't completely the fault of the case, but I did run into a problem where my Nexus CPU heatsink/fan wouldn't fit with the 120mm fan in the rear of this case. Since it already has a 200mm exaust fan on the top, I just removed the rear exaust and it seems to be running just fine. I didn't run into a problem fitting a SATA DVD burner in the top bay like the other reviewer mentioned. Also, since the PSU is in the bottom of the case, remember to get one with long cables. I actually really like having it in the bottom since it was really easy to keep the cables hidden instead of trying to stash them behing one of the DVD drives.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: -Excellent Build Quality-Rolled steel (won't cut your fingers on edges)-Awesome cable management-Sexy black interior
Weaknesses:-Fitting 5.25" drives are a nightmare
Overall Evaluation: Everything in this case is well thought out with no compromises..all the way down to the rings on the HD cages having their own fastening clip. The cable management and the top fan is what makes this otherwise small mATX case the size of a mid-tower ATX case. Though the 200mm fan and the excellent cable management is a good trade-off in my opinion. You can pretty much see my entire motherboard when looking in the case. The sound dampening really helps cut down much of the noise. Compared to my previous build in a basic Asus case, noise has been cut down about 1/3 (even with similar components). My only gripe is the design of 5.25" bays. The case comes with rails to mount on Optical Drives (or whatever) and are designed to be user-friendly. I spent about an hour trying to get my standard sized Phillips to fit in the bay. Eventually I settled with the drive sticking out about a centimeter. There's a door anyway to hide that. Overall this is an excellent case for the person that likes to tweak and swap out components in their computer.
