    Strengths: -Comes with backup software ready to install-extremely light-any beginner could easily back up their files-backs up any changes you have made since the last backup automatically

    Overall Evaluation: I have been looking for an external hard drive for sometime and I am very happy with my purchase. Toshiba makes a great HD that is extremely easy to use. As soon as you plug it in to a USB port it automatically opens the folder and brings up the NTI Shadow software that will back up your computer. After a quick and easy installation you are ready to save all those important files you would lose if your computer were to crash. I have a lot of important files saved on my computer and would hate to lose them (pictures, videos, school work, receipts, tax forms, etc.) and if I lost them I would seriously lose the past 3 years of my life. There are many important files that I could not bare to lose. This external hard drive is so easy to use, I backed up my entire hard drive in three hours (30gb). I could see why some people would want a larger hard drive but 160gb is plenty for me. My laptop only has 60gb so I don't think I'm going to have much trouble with the amount of space available. I'm sure I will own this hard drive for quite some time and it will definitely take me years and years to fill it up to capacity. Buy this product for all your backing up and hard drive needs, you will not be disappointed

    Weaknesses:USB Cable seems to be propriatary

    Overall Evaluation: This little 5400 RPM drive is a good all-around choise. I normally go for Wester Digital, but gave the Toshiba a try this time. The only point of concern is the USB cable. The connectors at each end are standard and very similar to my other drives cables. However, if I use a one of my other cables, the drive does not operate. I have to use the cable that came from Toshiba. This could pose a serious threat if I loose this unique cable.
