Duration of ownership: 3 Months
Strengths: Crystal Clear Video, High Zoom Capabilities, Sleek Design, Lightweight, Portable
Weaknesses:It's a bit pricey!
Overall Evaluation: This is an absolute MUST for everyone looking to get a new Camera! ...BUT, the price is a little to high in my opinion, I never would have got one if I never got mine for FREE!. Luckily a friend recommended this website to me before I went and bought one: **- www.cameras.justgetitfree.com - ** . I checked out the website, completed ONE simple offer and met the requirements to receive one for FREE, it arrived a month later in the post! It was also shown on BBC and CNN news!!

Strengths: Good Quality Photos, Inexpensive
Weaknesses:Lightweight
Overall Evaluation: My first dslr camera. Got the package that came with the kit lens and the 55-250mm lens. Kit lens is very light and cheapy feeling but the other lens is good and sturdily built. The camera is lightweight, which for me, is not all that great. I would rather have a heavy camera that is built to last. Overall a good camera. The 3.5 fps is also nice.

Duration of ownership: 6 Months
Strengths: IS kit lens, VERY user friendly controls, LCD panel is exquisite, easy to use, very sharp and low noise at 100 ISO
Weaknesses:NOISE NOISE NOISE! Past 100 ISO, there is a steep drop in sharpness and image quality (at least in my case).
Overall Evaluation: Live view is overrated and very difficult to use in most situations, although it does have (very slow) live autofocus. Also, the kit lens is pretty soft at both ends of the focal range. The middle is ok, but no surprises there. Overall, I love this camera at 100 ISO. If it's too dark for 200 ISO, bust out the flashes, because the noise is kinda painful. On a sunny day though, life is good. I'm still glad I bought it, seeing as the 5D II is about $2000 more... but one of these days...

Strengths: very nice
Weaknesses:No issues
Overall Evaluation: This is stylishly compact.I found clunky and hard to close at times, despite the incorporation of a grip that ought to make it easier to manipulate.something you can expect to deal with if compactness and style are high on your priority list.
