    Duration of ownership: 3 Months

    Strengths: Overall performance, Screen & resolution, Hard drive, built in webcam & finger print reader

    Weaknesses:Fan noise, can get hot, somewhat heavy, battery life, Speakers could have been better, bloatware loaded by HP

    Overall Evaluation: This computer is one great performer. It has great speed, sufficient RAM to run many applications in parallel. The screen size & resolution is just great. Added a TV tuner & get HD quality playback. Stunning ia all I can say. Webcam is decent. On the downside, the Fan noise is annoying. The Altec Lansing speakers could have performed better. We could do without all the unnecessary software HP loads. Not sure if it is my finger or the fingerprint reader, sometimes needs multiple swipes.

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Screen size and clarity, full sized keyboard, speed!

    Weaknesses:Touch pad is a little slow, heavy, battery life.

    Overall Evaluation: This was purchased to replace my aging desktop computer and I wanted the option to take it on the road as well. Built in WIFI is strong and easy to use. The screen clarity is amazing and the computer looks 'cool' with the case design. Now the drawbacks.. the touch pad seems slow and difficult to use, but with an external mouse you lose that problem. The battery life is poor, but it is powering a 17" screen! Other than that it is a great upgrade if you have a older, slower desktop or you want movies on the road.
