Strengths: Convenience. Internet Security - antivirus, anti-spyware and firewall require little attention.
Weaknesses:Lousy back-up tool - will not over-write previous back-up or back-up only new and changed files.
Pathetic ID/password management. No way to manually force it to add passwords. You do it on N360 prompt or forget it.
Overall Evaluation: Stick with Internet Security. Extra frills in 360 are not worth 2 cents!

Strengths: is occasionally discounted
Weaknesses:too many to list
Overall Evaluation: I fix PCs for a large retailer. In the past few months I have had to cleanup many computers that were ravaged by visus's, malware. spyware or spam. All of them were fully protected by Norton. Go Figure.

Strengths: 3 machine license, Vista and XP compatibility, no resource hogging that I have found.
Weaknesses:None that I have found, yet.
Overall Evaluation: I purchased Norton 360 to replace my expired Norton Internet Security 2008. I have 3 computers, and it had a 3-machine license; a match made in heaven. Installation was simple. Configuration was practically automatic. I have not had any problem with slowing of any of the machines. Granted, I have at least 2GB of RAM in each. There are fewer interations required after a scan than Internet Security. Most responses can be set to automatic. All in all, a great deal!

Strengths: Very good computer protection
Weaknesses:Slows down the computer a lot
Overall Evaluation: I've installed this on three different computers ranging from very old to 3 years old. On the very old computer, it just about killed all functions. On the 3 year old, it slows things down a lot. My computer's fan constantly runs on high with Norton 360 installed. I uninstalled it and the computer worked normally again, so I know it was Norton using too many resources. I tried to remove or turn off some of the Norton functions that I don't need, but that didn't really help. The best thing I could do was to leave my computer on when I wasn't using it so that Norton could run during the idle times. It does a great job of protecting my computers, but at the cost of computer resources. Maybe it would work on a new computer. I'm personally switching back to McAfee.

Strengths: This product can be used (has license) for three computers. It has the features of Norton System Works and Internet Security, plus Norton Password Manager all incorporated into one software program.
Weaknesses:None I encountered.
Overall Evaluation: This is one of Norton's simplest software packages I've owned/used. I have been buying Norton Anti-Virus, System Works, Internet Security and Password Manager products for several years. It's great to have (finally) an all in one software that has everything. The earlier version of Norton 360 did not have the Password Manager features and some other items I thought were essential. My one year subscription was over with Norton 360 [version 1.0] and it was better overall to buy this product than to renew my Norton 360 version 1.0 product. One note, make sure when you buy, you get the Version 2.0 with three licenses, if you have more than one home or laptop computer. Other version 2.0 products may only serve one license. Bottom Line, it was easy to install, great value, and I have yet to have any issues with it performing as designed.

Review:
Symantec Norton 360 Version 2.0 Software Suite
Security suite covers all the bases in an easy-to-use package, but doesn't ace PC protection.
Norton 360, Symantec's all-around security, backup, and PC-tuning suite, takes a small step forward with this year's version 2. The easy-to-use collection of applications costs $79 for three PCs and covers all the bases; but in our tests, its core security protection wasn't especially good. The upgraded backup feature permits more control than previous versions of the tool offered, and it lets you send files to your iPod, online storage, and traditional backup destinations, but it ran into problems restoring files from online storage in our testing.
