Strengths: Crisp, Clean image. Great Text and graphic representation. High Refresh rates, great looks and all around unbeatable value.
Weaknesses:It's not as small as an LCD monitor but no LCD monitor on the market (yet) can achieve the optimal output that this monitor does. (LCD's are slower to respond)
Overall Evaluation: If you are in the market for a great 19" Pure flat screen CRT monitor and don't want to break the bank then this is a wonderful choice. Dell has them on special occasionally for $199.95 with free shipping! You can't go wrong. I give it an overall performance to value rating of 5 stars!

Strengths: Easy on the eyes for digital graphics
Weaknesses:Bulk needs desk space.
Overall Evaluation: For both text and digital graphics, I find a CRT far easier on the eyes than the thin LCDs. This Dell upgrade has a totally flat screen, which elimninates screen reflection problems, which were annoying on a previous 21" CRT. Text remains sharp down to smaller than you want to read; and retains sharp edges at any size you want to use. I do "pixel-by-pixel" editing on digital photos & graphics. This CRT is a joy to use, is clear & bright at all angles, and has no visible flicker.
