    Strengths:

    Weaknesses:Deceptive Tatics

Overall Evaluation: Be very careful. After finding a battery charger on SnapDigital, I ordered and what I received was different than I ordered. I emailed seller and received no response. I then decided to file a dispute with PayPal against the seller. I decided to take a screenshot of the page before filing, good thing, after the dispute was filed the seller removed the page (red flag). The original page said nothing about being a aftermarket item and even had the picture of the OEM charger I wanted. Description stated that is was the OEM model, had the correct part number and description. Only after it was ordered and did not notice until after it was shipped that the order confirmation stated it was a 3rd party item. The item they sent was an overseas made item of poor quality and was even advertized one of USA’s largest online retailer for 4.81 with free shipping. I realize mistakes happen, but to insist I overlooked that is said it was a 3rd party item when it clearly had no indication on the sales page, is just deception in my book. BE CAUTIOUS of the seller. See Screenshot

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Lightweight, compact

    Weaknesses:Pricey

Overall Evaluation: I brought this to charge my VIXIA HF100 batteries. I hate charging them while they are on the camcorder. This thing is handy and compact. Fits easily in my camcorder bag. Best part it doesn't have any bulky adapter. Charging is at decent speed if not ultra fast. The price is too high though for this thing.

    Strengths: Works well

    Weaknesses:expensive

Overall Evaluation: I bought this battery charger for my Canon HF100 camcorder and it is really helpful during travel. I don't need to bring the bulky power adaper with me. But the price is too high for the charger and it should be included in the package.

Strengths: Nothing special... You get a similar charger at no cost when purchasing Canon SLR cameras.

    Weaknesses:PRICE!

Overall Evaluation: Well, if I knew that there will be no charger included with my new ~$1000 Vixia HF10 HD camcorder, I would have not purchased it. I own numerous Canon products and I will think hard before I purchase another item from them. Canon, is it worth losing a loyal customer over some stupid charger. I feel violated... $70 for a charger!

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Small size

    Weaknesses:Price

Overall Evaluation: I order this for my Canon HF-100 camcorder that I just ordered. I don't like the idea of using my camcorder to charge the battery, that is the reason why I order this charger. It is small and easy to carry with me for trips instead of bringing along the charger cord that came with the camcorder. I can plug it right to the outlet without any cord, which is convenient. The only thing that I don't like about this charger is the price. It is very expensive ($50) for just a small charger.
