    Duration of ownership: 5 Months

    Strengths: Portability, durability and size; 2.5 lbs; easy to use w/ wifi, bluetooth, XP O/S, very clear monitor/visual even for such a small screen; looks nice, too.

    Weaknesses:None really; it does not come w/DVD/CD player but that is to be expected w/a small machine.

    Overall Evaluation: I bought this machine after a friend bought one for her trip to Norway and love it. It is small and easy to put in your purse for travel and weighs on 2.5 lbs so you don't feel weighted down. It comes with its own foam-like case & a microfiber cleaning cloth. The keyboard is small but you will get use to it easily. I've used Skype on it out in southeastern Utah when my cell phone died and it was awesome. The quality is superior than expected and I have dropped the machine a few times on carpeted floors and it still works. I used this machine on a trip from Seattle to Houston twice and it performance was excellent especially when I just need a few minutes of "borrowed" wifi to get city/traffic/Starbucks/detour/map information. I have had the machine since February 2009 and am still not disappointed - it has more than paid for itself. I bought mine from Amazon.com, btw. :)

    Duration of ownership: 6 Months

    Strengths: all of the strenghts are neutralized by its short life

    Weaknesses:short life span

    Overall Evaluation: Do not buy this machine. Mine died suddenly, in the middle of a conference I was using it to take my meeting notes. It lasted less than five months.
