  Overall Evaluation: I needed a drive in order to use the cable. My cable came without any software/drive. After hours of internet search I downloaded the drive. I guess it's worthier to buy the bluetooth device.

  Strengths: How can you go wrong with a name brand product like Motorola for starters? Cable attaches perfected to Motorola V551 phone which is exactly what I expected.

  Weaknesses:No weakenesses

  Overall Evaluation: I bought this cable to use as an interface between my Motorola V551 cell phone and mobile phone management tool software that I installed on my computer. The cable works flawlessly (although I wish the sofware I purchased was a little more user friendly).

  Strengths: Convenient, easy to use.

  Weaknesses:None, so far.

  Overall Evaluation: It's really easy to install on your computer and easy to use, and the installation CD came with the USB cable that I ordered. I don't really use the internet function on my phone, but being able to download pictures and videos from my phone to my computer easily allows me to email the pictures taken with my phone using my home computer. You can also upload the same things to your phone using your computer. I also like the fact that you can make your own ringtones with your personal MP3s and CDs for free. It's much better than paying $2.99 a piece to download them from somewhere else. I'm happy with the purchase, especially since I got it a little cheaper from pricegrabber.

  Strengths: received the product very fast. Installation was quick and simple, did not have any problems. Software installed with no problems and was easy to configure.

  Weaknesses:This is not so much of weakness of this product but more of the phone service. It does not allow for fast internet connections, using a dial up account it is less than half as fast as dial up.

  Overall Evaluation: This device lets you use your cel phone to connect to your laptop so you can get on the internet. This is mostly useful to check email. But it can also be used, if you have patience to get online and do things like get directions from mapquest or other various web work. In comparison to a wireless card from t-mobile or cingular, this is about half as fast, which is really slow, but it lets you use your minutes, which if you have cingular, you probably have a lot of rollover minutes, and this is a good way to use them. Because a wireless card plan is at least $30 extra month.

  Weaknesses:None.

  Overall Evaluation: Perfect compliment to the Motorola V551. Allows communication between your computer and your phone. You can download your own music for ringtones. Download pictures as well. Allows you to upload photos into your computer taken by the phone. Great accessory.
