    Duration of ownership: 7 Days

Strengths: Uncluttered appearance; customization; remote (for those who will use it); connections; Bluetooth connectivity; USB usability

Weaknesses:Lack of separate power antenna connection (see below); supplimental trim ring is unusable; sometimes multiple commands are needed to perform simple tasks

Overall Evaluation: I am very, very pleased with this unit. Never having been a big fan of Pioneer products, I was a little skeptical. I was wrong. The unit it solid and beautiful! Very clean. Tons of adjustments, very fine-tunable, and without a lot of tiny buttons on the face; that was one of the reasons I bought it. I wish it had a separate power antenna lead, however. The "system" lead works for this purpose, but it powers the antenna whenever unit is powered up versus only when using the tuner. Maybe I'm spoiled, but that's how my stock radio worked. Another downfall is that sometimes it takes a few button pushes on the head unit to do something simple, such as pause a CD or USB; one push needed with the remote though. Trim ring supplied is totally unusable, so I'm glad I didn't need it. Its way too big, and I wondered if it was even the right one for this unit! Weird.Overall: outstanding. My 17 y/o son thinks its just as cool as his JVC KD-AVX11. Wow...
