    Strengths: Canon quality, works great

    Weaknesses:Little pricy.

Overall Evaluation: This Canon product shows good result when using with my Rebel XTi. No major complains, just works great, does its job as expected, love Canon quality and though a little bit more expensive. It worths the extra money! Highly recommend for daily use.

    Strengths: Protects Lens for Cheap

    Weaknesses:Can't Use with Ring Lite

Overall Evaluation: If you just bought a $500 lens and are afraid of scratching the front element, this is one of the best things you can buy. Throw in a lens hood, and you'll be set.One issue I didn't really realize until after I got my ring lite is if you get a Canon macro speedlite, then you can't use this (or any other) filter at the same time.

    Strengths: Canon name, low cost

    Weaknesses:probably not highest quality

Overall Evaluation: I got this filter mainly to protect my Canon 50mm lens. It's supposed to filter out some UV light, but I honestly can't notice a difference. I figure it's worth $10 to protect a $300 lens.

Strengths: compatible with Canon S2 digital camera, inexpensive for camera equipment, protects camera lens from dust

    Weaknesses:none

Overall Evaluation: I bought this along with the Canon LAH-DC20 Lens Hood Adapter Set. I think it improves my pictures dramatically. I wish I had bought one earlier. I would recommend this product to anyone who takes a lot of pictures outdoors.

Strengths: Inexpensive insurance for your lens

Weaknesses:Made in Philippines instead of Japan

Overall Evaluation: I just bought this for the 18-55 kit lens from my Canon Rebel XT. It seems to do its job, which for me is primarily lens protection. I will soon buy another for my 75-300 lens which I just purchased as well. I won't risk using a lens without one of these on. You'll find them for about $15 at most camera stores.
