    Duration of ownership: 8 Months

Strengths: Mobile video using a cell phone via RTSPWireless, streams audio with IE browserSnapshot mode so you can fetch just a single JPG for use on a web page, etc. Includes 1 free year of TZO.COM DDNS

Weaknesses:Motion detection can trigger with light, clouds, wind, but if you have it indoors and no natural lighting "tricks" hit the camera, it will work perfectly.

Overall Evaluation: This camera is great for watching over your home or business from anywhere. You can use a browser (IE or Firefox) and for those of you with mobile devices and certain cell phones, you can use RTSP to connect and watch mobile video with these cameras. Each camera comes with a free year of the TZO.COM DDNS service, so you can reach your camera by using a domain name, even if your IP changes (dynamic IP) you can still connect using this domain name from TZO.It also has motion detection, snapshot mode, and can email or FTP with motion. Overall, its a cool camera and I'd give it a 9 out of 10, and for the price I bought 4 of them and can watch over my home when Im away using my cell phone or laptop.See a full review over on the myhomeserver.com site, it shows how to use the camera withyour cell phone

    Duration of ownership: 3 Months

    Strengths: Nice picture, good sound

Weaknesses:Range is really weak. The software is annoying

Overall Evaluation: I bought the wireless internet camera to be able to watch my kids downstairs from my PC while I was working in my home office. It works for that purpose pretty well, however, its somewhat tough to get it installed and working. Also, sometimes when I reboot, the software can't recognize the camera, so I have to add it manually. For the price I paid though, overall I'm pretty happy, just a warning that the set up process isn't real simple.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Decent quality, fairly easy setup, wireless connectivity.

Weaknesses:Sound either really bad or doesn't work at all.

Overall Evaluation: The video quality of this camera is quite decent in daylight. It has a few video formats so there are several ways to watch the video. It even has a static snapshot URL that I was able to hack together to embed the image in my own private website. The viewer software for Windows is decent and has an option of monitoring up to 9 cameras. This is actually making me consider getting more of these to keep an eye on other areas of the house.I don't need sound so I never bothered to figure it out, but it seemed that the mic was either really quiet or didn't work at all.

    Duration of ownership: 1 Weeks

Strengths: Excellent distant access and motion detection emails are great.

Weaknesses:Hard to set up - took awhile

Overall Evaluation: I had a Linksys wireless router so thought this would be a snap to setup. Wrong. First, after four hours with tech support we figured out that the camera had an intermittent power supply. Took it back and exchanged for a new camera. Still had problems setting up but not as bad because I'd done so much with the first one. Took about 40 minutes with their tech support and then it worked like a hot **** In order to see your place remotely, you need to open a port in your router. Had no problem setting it up to send emails. I would recommend this camera to others, but if you're not a ten on the techie scale, be prepared to spend time on the phone with them.
