Overall Evaluation: This was the lowest price at which I could get a Wide Angle Lens, for my Panasonic handycam. It fits easily to the handycam. The lens has cover on both the sides and comes in a carrycase. Picture quality is good does not degrades when focused to the widest angle. Does goes wide but not as far as I expected it to be. May be next time I will go for a Fish eye lens.

Overall Evaluation: I surfed all over the internet to find a low-priced wide-angle lens for my Canon video camera (Optura 20). I couldn't find any better deal than this product. I was impressed with it's quality construction, and the clarity of the picture. This lens will double the image you get, allowing you to shoot much wider shots, while being physically much closer to what you're shooting. As far as I can tell, this is a great product!

Strengths: affordable; no vignetting or focusing problems; no degradation in picture quality
Weaknesses:at close range, possible for flash to have halo where lens cast a shadow. Not a big deal since this is used mostly for panoramic shots.
Overall Evaluation: It's well worth the added bulk by allowing you to take more of the landscape and making your rooms look bigger. Bought for Canon S45 with a 37mm lens/filter adapter. Wonderful experience to get new lens. Makes digital photography fun. Overall, I am quite pleased with this lens and it serves my purpose, which was to get a decent quality wideangle without spending a lot of $$$
