  Duration of ownership:

  Strengths: 1. Easy plug-n=play to your Digital Camera/Camcorder with ACC2. Very handy and protable3. Synchronized shutter release4. Flexible to use - either on hand or as a clip-in to your tripod

  Weaknesses:1. I bit small to hold in your palm2. Pricey

  Overall Evaluation: This would be more usefull if the cord or cable is retractable, like the idea on how a tape measure is. It would be nice if it control the focus too.

  Strengths: Eliminates camera shake, long cord, lightweight, removable, & carry pouch.

  Weaknesses:No focus control.

  Overall Evaluation: Sony RM-VD1 Remote Commander uses the LANC technology to control device power, two zoom speeds via rocker switch, record and control shutter release in photo mode from up to 5 feet away. Silver plastic with chrome zoom rocker switch. Clips on tripod pan handle (5-16mm) with rubber grips. Paid $35.99. For compatibility, please be certain that your Digital Camera features an ACC terminal or Handycam has a LANC terminal.

  Strengths: Awesome Remote Control for SONY DC !!!

  Weaknesses:

  Overall Evaluation: I think that this RMC(Remote Control) is the necessary of every SONY DC user , No Doubt , Just Buy It !!! (For F828 , It can't be used to control zoom in & zoom out , but it's ok for me)
