Strengths: Ability to lock on to weak signals; Thin size and light weight; Ease of creating directory.
Weaknesses:Haven't seen one yet. Despite claims by other reviewers of weak battery life, I have had no trouble with long daily on-times and lengthy calls.
Overall Evaluation: This is a great phone. I live in a very weak Verizon signal area and could not even get a usable signal for my prior LG phone. The new V3C locks on and gives solid calls at the same point where I could not maintain any calls before. That was an unexpected benefit, as the only reason I renewed my contract with Verizon was great service around the country. Now I have it at home, too.

Strengths: I have a Magenta RAZRV3. The only thing I love besides the color the ability to shoot a video for 10 seconds.
Weaknesses:Worst battery life of any cell phone I've ever had, and I've had one since 1988! Picture storage fills up too fast so you lose photos. I'm constantly charging this thing. Constantly drops calls. Bluetooth wireless calls people when it's not even supposed to be on!
Overall Evaluation: Besides the Magenta color and video capability, this phone is a HUGE disappointment! I feel like a Dialysis Patient because no matter what I'm doing, I have to charge this phone DAILY! The memory as far as videos is HORRIBLE and just as bad on pictures. I have a Motorola V300 which I LOVE and much prefer over this one! I guess if you're looking for a slim phone that drops calls constantly, this is a thoroughbread!

Strengths: Thin, cool looking, phone with camera and short video
Weaknesses:Difficult to hear, impossible to see screen outside during the day
Overall Evaluation: I am extremely disappointed with the RAZR. I have had mine a year-and-a-half and it just died on me completely. I have heard of quite a few people with this problem. Of course, the warranty is only one year, so that is that. I would not buy this phone again under any circumstances--even if free!

Strengths: NONE!!!!!!!
Weaknesses:EVERYTHING THAT HAS GOT TO DO WITH IT!!!!
Overall Evaluation: THIS PHONE IS A HUNK OF JUNK!!! YOU DON'T EVEN CALL IT A V3 YOU CALL IT A VCA (VERY CRAPPY APPLIANCE). I ONLY HAD IT FOR 2 WEEKS AND IT STUFFED UP. IT SPENDS MORE TIME GETTING FIXED THEN I GET TO USE IT AND I TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO BUY A MOTOROLA OF ANY SORT. TELSTRA'S POLICY FOR REPAIR OR REPLACEMNT IS RIDICULOUS! YOU SPEND JUST AS MUCH AS IT COST TO BUY THE PHONE TO SEND IT FOR REPAIR IF YOU LIVE IN A REMOTE AREA BEFORE THEY REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER PIECE OF CRAP. TELSTRA TELLS YOU THAT THERE IS NOT MANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS MOTOROLA CRAPPAROLA SO WHY DON'T THEY REPLACE IT IMMEDIATELY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Strengths: Great size of screen and keypad
Weaknesses:KEYPAD
Overall Evaluation: My cell phone is my ONLY phone. It must be reliable. I'm not hard on cell phones. I use it to make calls (maybe 200-300 minutes per month), and take a few pictures and some video. That's it. I purchased a new V3 RAZR on 12/5/05. The screen and keypad were large and easy to read; I enjoyed being able to make calls and see who was calling me without my reading glasses. At Christmas, I received a bluetooth headset, which the phone never recognized. My mistake was assuming this was a headset issue, not the phone. In June 2006, the keypad failed. Only ON/OFF and zero worked. Since I had not purchased the insurance, I was not eligible for a new Razr. I was sent reconditioned handsets.First handset: Keypad failed in four weeks; Second handset: Keypad failed in three weeks;Third handset: Stopped taking pictures and video; I had to turn the phone off to get out of that mode. This was NOT acceptable as I enjoyed taking pictures of my grandchild.Fourth handset: Keypad failure in 48 HOURSAt this point, I was given a choice: Another reconditioned V3 Razr or a (new) different model phone (Slivr). I accepted the new Slivr, with which I am NOT thrilled. I HAVE to wear my reading glasses to use it.

Review:
