Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Absolutely the easiest way to turn any house into a simple, fast plug-in ethernet network. No in-wall or attic wiring necessary.

Weaknesses:

Overall Evaluation: This works as ethernet through PLC (power line carrier) and can perform better than Cat 6 cable.
