Strengths: Price
Weaknesses:Unstable at DDR400
Overall Evaluation: Bought 2GB these at Fry's Electronics for a new system (ABIT K8N-SLI motherboard, evga nvidia 7600). System was unstable for some games with default settings (e.g. World of Warcraft crashed after 5 minutes). Setting BIOS to DDR333 fixed the problem. Fry's sold them as DDR400, I'll probably return them.

Strengths: Very stable and reliable, overall a solid performer with 15% margin for OC. Plus, you get Corsair's Lifetime Warranty.
Weaknesses:Not really a complaint, but my Abit AN7 mobo which uses the old nForce2 Ultra chipset freezes memtest86's #5 test when set to run *under* 200MHz, with the modded BIOS (Enduracell 18DE 1T). Weird.
Overall Evaluation: I got this DC kit at Fry's on the Day-after-Xmas deal. The kit uses BrainPower D68001H PCBs with Nanya chips dated on 0547, made in Taiwan. My initial impression at the store was "a bit disappointed" when I saw the 'unknown' chips, as I heard people who got the same kit a couple of months earlier than me had Samsung UCCC chips (which are known to OC'able beyond 250MHz.) Although back then the price was still quite steep.I went home and tested the memory right away. To my surprise, the kit could run quite stably at 220MHz with CL2.5 right out of box. With some minor tweaks on memory voltage, I could easily get it up at solid 225MHz/CL2.5 (2.5-3-3-9). This is not bad at all for GB-level sticks in DC setting! Then, I tried CL3.0 (3-3-3-9) and this kit could run stably at 235MHz! For the price I paid ($100 after rebate) I am very impressed with such results! In order not to overburn the memory, I always recede a few MHz from the top stable OC speed I got for my 24/7 usage. So I settle at 230MHz/CL3.0, and this 2GB kit has been performing fabulously for all of my photo/video editing tasks. The solid performer delivers stability and reliability. I am quite satisfied, and deem this one of the best technological purchases I made last year.

Strengths: High quality. Solid performance. Stable. Dual Channel Ready. Good price. Excellent value.
Weaknesses:Limited speed. Minimal overclocking potential.
Overall Evaluation: Corsair is well known in the computer memory industry, and for good reason! Corsair has made it a habit to produce high quality items, and this memory kit is yet another in a long line of excellent products. This kit does exactly what it is supposed to do: provides 2gb of stable memory for your computer.I've been using the kit for about two months now, and I'm very happy. My computer handles intense programs like Adobe Photoshop more smoothly, and multitasking has benefitted as well. Keep in mind, however, that this memory is geared for the budget / value audience. If you're looking to play the newest games or edit video, you would be better off with high performance memory. This memory cost $100 after rebates at Fry's Electronics. Prior to this memory kit, I was running 1gb (2x512mb) of Mushkin SP3200 Enhanced Memory.

Strengths: Decent price and quality
Weaknesses:None
Overall Evaluation: In my opinion, Corsair makes pretty decent memory modules. I have used several brands of memory modules in last several years. The quality of this Corsair memory module is equally good or better than other brand such as PNY and Kingston. The memory works well on my Dell server and it's also relatively cheap.

Strengths: Corsair Brand, 2GB Size.
Weaknesses:
Overall Evaluation: This is a very good brand-name 2GB DDR memory kit (2x1GB) that will give a good boost to computers running multiple memory-hungry applications. PCs with 4 memory slots will still have room to upgrade to 4GB if needed. excellent warranty.
