Duration of ownership: 6 Months
Strengths: Value, voice quality, easy setup.
Weaknesses:None that I know of.
Overall Evaluation: I have tried them all (Vonage, Packet8 and Skype) and ooma blows them away. Voice quality is as good or better than a regular phone line. No monthly fees after the initial purchase unless you get their premiere package (which I did). That is $99 a year and you get a second line, do not disturb, internet voice mail and more. They give you a 60 day free trail period to try it out. I really like the second line and do not disturb. One press of a button and it disables all phones in the house. Great when you want to take a nap or when you go to bed at night. All calls are then directed to voicemail.
