    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Fast, Quiet.

    Weaknesses:Cost per GB.

    Overall Evaluation: Replacing my 74GB raptor with this 300GB Velociraptor. Biggest difference is how quiet this drive is. There is not much of a noticeable difference between this drive and my old drive but it is faster. The fact that it's more than 4 times the size of the old drive is also a plus. The only down side is the cost per GB, but obviously if you want speed then you have to pay for it. The only other option is SSD's, but the good ones are not affordable yet. Awesome drive. If you want speed then this is it.
