Duration of ownership: 3 Weeks
Strengths: Cheap, color laser, separate toner cartriges.
Weaknesses:No manual feed tray, sucks a lot of power
Overall Evaluation: I have had this a couple of weeks, despite several customer reviews that said they have jam issues I have not had that (be sure you set proper paper type in the driver when you print to avoid issues) The printer has a hatch on the back to pull out jams and has instructions inside for reaching any paper that may be in the front. I've printed on card stock no problems, have not yet had a chance to do photos but that's on my to do list. Toner cartrides cost around fourty dollars each (cheap as laser toner goes). You'll use black more than the other colors if you mostly print in monochrome. It's my impression there may be two black cartridges one of higher capacity. This unit comes with full color toners but seems to come with a lower capacity black toner. Very good price, Staples just had this for 199.00 with a $100.00 rebate making final cost $99.00 after rebate (you get a visa prepaid card). This is a pretty small unit, it fits in the same space as my old brother all in one inkjet printer. If you hook this up on the same outlet with your computer be prepared for voltage drops, every time this powers up my ups does some screaming but I'm not worried because I have a good ups, i.e. if you can run this on a separate circuit do so.

Strengths: Great prints and no problems to install system to computer. Program works great. Output of prints in B/W and Color are very good. Price was less than some inkjet printers that I surveyed. I would recommend this printer any day.
Weaknesses:None as of this date.
Overall Evaluation: I would recommend this printer for home or small business offices. I use it for home use.

Duration of ownership: 2 Days
Strengths: small, easy to hook up, great price
Weaknesses:the BIG weakness is poor print quality for black and white...a bit fuzzy...color not bad but text quality is poor.
Overall Evaluation: The text quality is poor which essentially makes the printer unacceptable or marginally acceptable. Has some nice features such as size, great price for a laser printer and wifi access is great on a home network. Unfortunately, the text print quality is poor which makes you want to take this back and get something else.

Duration of ownership: 30 Days
Strengths: Size, reliability, Price
Weaknesses:No single-sheet manual feed ( for envelopes, cards), but for the price, you can't expect that
Overall Evaluation: Dollar for dollar you get twice as much machine from Samsung than from the likes of HP and Brother, with their "pricey consumables model". Samsung is comitted to good value on the purchase price, and good value on the ongoing consumables. They give you four 2/3 full cartridges which outweighs the cost of the printer altogether.

Duration of ownership: 1 Months
Strengths: Fast printouts.Warranty - Parts: 12 months Labor: 12 monthsAcceptable starter cartridges
Weaknesses:None so far
Overall Evaluation: The "World's Smallest Color Laser Printer" as Samsung likes to call it is a compact and stylish little thing. It uses NO NOIS technology makes it quiet as well. Averaging 4 ppm color and 17 ppm coverage is impressive especially when graphics come out at 2,400 x 600 effective dpi. It comes with starter cartridges which yield 1,000 pages K and 700 pages CYM cartridges, it's more than sufficient for the home user. With occasional sales at large office supply stores pricing this at 129.99 with free shipping, color laser printing is finally within reach of the home user. Samsung has a good reputation in the printer line and is becoming an economical competitor to the pricier HPs.
